A fruity sweet liqueur of red vineyard peaches from our noble distillery, infused with sparkling Secco from the family winery MENGES, plus a few frozen peach cubes - more HeimatGenuss in a drink is not possible! After a generous gourmet breakfast from the buffet, the next morning, it's off to nearby Heidelberg: a city for romantics with a diverse range of art and culture. Included in the offer is a ticket to visit the castle and you also get free admission to the mountain railroad. Use your excursion to see even more of Heidelberg. For example, the old town with its winding streets and the longest pedestrian zone in Germany. The Old Bridge over the Neckar River is also well worth a visit. After a culture-filled day in beautiful Heidelberg, you can relax in our Roman steam bath, sauna or indoor rooftop swimming pool with sun terrace. Afterwards we will spoil you again with a 3-course menu in our restaurant. Wines, sparkling wines and brandies from the family's own estate round off the culinary offer. After a generous gourmet breakfast from the buffet, the next morning, you will receive a "Verdauerle" bottle of schnapps, from our own distillery, for the journey home.

Experience Augsburg in its heyday - the time of the Fugger and Welser! They were originaly from Augsburg, fabulously rich and incredibly successful. The Fuggers were one of the most important banking houses in Europe and, so to speak, the "Krupps of the early modern period". Likewise the Welser, similarly large financiers, with a unique trading network. Experience the world-famous beauty among Germany's historic cities, a city for romantics with a diverse range of art and culture. The harmonious ensemble of the old town, castle, river and mountains attracts numerous visitors to the Neckar city every year. Included in the offer is a ticket to visit the castle and you also get free admission to the mountain railroad. One of the most modern mountain railroads will take you up to the top to see the entire city area with the mighty Neckar River. The incredibly beautiful Baden-Württemberg shows its best side here. Parts of the venerable and imposing structure even date back to the 12th century. However, the magnificent building is widely known for its radiant facades from the Renaissance. On top of the Königsstuhl there are several hiking trails, a fairy tale paradise for children and even a falconry. Use your excursion to see even more of Heidelberg. For example, the old town with its winding alleys. Life is humming here. Students, locals and tourists populate the restaurants, bars and bistros with a colorful mix of cultures. The Old Bridge over the Neckar is definitely worth a visit. Even Goethe once described it as probably the most beautiful structure over a river. Beautiful weekend! In the center: an exciting boat trip, where you have the choice. Would you like to store and feast? Then the captain will take you to Zell and back. You prefer hiking? Then sail to Pünderich and hike back along stage 14 on the Moselsteig via the Prinzenkopfturm and past Arras Castle. Warning: such a weekend on the Moselle can be addictive! Especially if you are spoiled at Bömers.

Augsburg has also been a World Heritage site since 2019. UNESCO insisted on making our water management a World Heritage Site. And we Augsburger are very proud of it! With its countless canals and streams, the monumental wells that are scattered all over the city and the hydroelectric power plants, our Fugger town has impressive monuments of water management and water art.
